Contributions to medicine and/or Professional Service: Chief of Staff of the Victoria Hospital, twice in succession.
Staff of St. Boniface Hospital from 1942-1991.
Dr. Zeavin practiced medicine in Manitoba for 50 years.
Non-medical contributions to the community: He was President of the Simon Flexner organization, which was the organization for Jewish doctors. He was elected for this position twice.
Province of Manitoba named a lake after Dr. Zeavin now called, Lake Zeavin after his death.
