Past Acting Medical Director for Vancouver Island. Developed an approach enhancing Family Doctor’s capacity to treat people with mental health disorders across BC and now Nova Scotia, soon Alberta. Also, decreasing healthcare provider stigma, improving patient outcomes.

One of earliest Jewish women doctors graduating from Manitoba Medical School during a time of believed tacit quotas re women in the early 1960’s graduating with Best Intern Award shared with Dr. Danny Klass 1967.

Individual Attributes: Married for 51 years to Dr. Brian Weinerman (same medical school class) 2 children, 6 grandchildren.
