Successfully ran for the Winnipeg School Board, 1942.

Contributions to Medicine or Professional Service: Creation of field of Biostatistics.

Published in mathematics and biostatistics, after 1963. Gained an international reputation.

A prize in her name was established by the American Population Association in 1974.
