Observations, personal reflections, or commentary for this individual: Since Barry’s retirement in December, 1999, he has led a very active life. This has included winters in St. Petersburg, Florida where he pursued his many interests at the Osher program for Life Long Learning at Eckerd College. There he participated in a poetry writing group, painting and attended various classes. He and his wife, Sandra, have travelled widely in Europe, Asia, and spent a winter in Australia and New Zealand visiting family. His interest in music includes attending every symphony in Winnipeg and St. Petersburg, Florida and also operas.
